What is the difference between continuous flow and pulse dose?
A continuous flow portable concentrator delivers a steady, uninterrupted stream of oxygen at your chosen flow setting, whether you are inhaling or exhaling. It delivers oxygen the same way as a traditional home oxygen concentrator.
A pulse dose portable concentrator senses your breathing and releases a short burst of oxygen only when you inhale. This uses less oxygen overall, so pulse dose units are often smaller and lighter and tend to run longer on a battery.
How long does the battery last at different flow settings?
Most of our portable oxygen concentrators run for about 1 hour on a single battery. Battery life may vary by model and flow setting, so please check the product description on each product page for the exact runtime.
How loud is the machine during operation?
Our portable oxygen concentrators operate at approximately 55 dB (±5 dB), which is comparable to the sound level of a normal conversation. This puts our noise level on par with other leading portable oxygen concentrators on the market. Actual noise may vary slightly depending on the flow setting and operating environment.
How heavy is the machine, and is it easy to carry?
Weight varies slightly by model. In general, our portable oxygen concentrators weigh about 2.8 kg (approximately 6.2 lbs) without the battery. The battery adds extra weight, so please check the product page for the exact weight of your model. Each machine comes with a carrying bag, so you can take it with you at home, in the car, or on the go.
How soon I can receive the oxygen concentrator?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed in the US will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
